The product
Design and features of the Reco Bra®
Four years of development, fifteen prototypes, and one clear principle throughout: every feature was designed to address a real need during recovery after breast surgery.
A closer look at Reco Bra®
See the Reco Bra® from every angle and explore the details designed to support comfort and recovery after breast surgery.
Front
Two rows of hooks allow the fit to be adjusted as swelling changes. Start on the looser setting and move inwards as swelling reduces.
Straps
Fully adjustable, soft shoulder straps with wide cushioning and easy-to-use sliders that can be adjusted while wearing the bra. The straps can also be opened fully to allow easier access for wound inspection and dressing changes.
Back
Curved support zones are knitted into the fabric, rather than created with stitched panels. The seamless 3D knit construction provides support without unnecessary seams or ridges against the skin.
Side
The knitted side of the garment, without a conventional stitched side seam.
The garment
Wire-free throughout, with support and gentle compression engineered into the knitted fabric rather than created through cups and underwiring. The four-way stretch fabric allows the garment to adapt as the body changes during recovery.
Under-bust
A soft, stretch hem band provides gentle, comfortable compression close to the under-bust area, where incisions may be present. There are no internal labels or pockets inside the Reco Bra®, helping to minimise anything that could rub against or disturb sensitive skin during the earliest stages of recovery.
Colour Black
The same construction in both colours. The black Reco Bra® has exactly the same seamless 3D knit construction, support zones and features as the lighter colour.
The whole garment, turning
Front, side and back in one turn, so nothing about the construction is hidden from you.
Designed for recovery, made for everyday wear
The Reco Bra® has been thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of women recovering from all types of breast surgery. Its seamless, wire-free design provides gentle, comfortable support during the critical healing period, while a range of carefully considered features help make recovery easier. These include exclusive Devan Bi-Ome® antimicrobial technology, which helps keep the bra fresher for longer, providing hygiene confidence when it needs to be worn day and night.
Double front opening
Opens fully without raising your arms, and adjusts as swelling changes day to day.
Knitted compression zones
Support is built into the fabric itself, so there are no wires anywhere near your surgery site.
Adjustable soft straps
Wide, cushioned and easy to alter one-handed, even with limited movement.
Longline band
Sits low and flexible on the torso, away from drain sites after mastectomy and reconstruction.
Devan Bi-Ome® fabric
An antimicrobial finish, independently lab-tested against the wound bacteria that matter after surgery.
Seamless throughout
Nothing to press or rub on an incision, which is what makes it wearable around the clock.

Four decisions that make the difference
None of these details are obvious in a product photograph, so here is what each one does, and why it is there.
Seamless
Knitted in one piece, so there are no conventional seams pressing against sensitive areas
Most bras are cut and sewn, with cups joined to a band, seams running down the sides and elastic stitched around the edges. These joins can create raised areas that may press against sensitive skin. The Reco Bra® is knitted in one piece on a circular knitting machine, creating a seamless construction without conventional side seams or stitched joins against the skin. The result is a smooth, continuous fabric designed to feel gentle against areas that can be particularly sensitive during early recovery.
Zone Tech support
Zone Tech compression zones
The coloured images show the different compression zones knitted into the seamless, four-way stretch fabric. Strategically positioned within the registered unique design, each zone provides a varying level of compression and support around different surgical incision sites.
Front opening
It goes on without lifting your arms
Two rows of hook-and-eye fastenings run down the front, with shoulder straps that unclip completely. The Reco Bra® opens fully at the front, so you can put it on like a cardigan without needing to lift your arms. It also allows a nurse or healthcare professional to open the bra for dressing changes or wound checks without requiring you to remove it completely. For the earliest stages of recovery, when movement can be limited or uncomfortable, a front-opening design can make getting dressed and managing the bra much easier.
Four-way stretch
It expands as you swell and adapts as swelling settles
89% polyamide and 11% elastane, knitted to stretch in every direction. Swelling can change considerably during recovery, and everyone settles differently. The four-way stretch fabric adapts as your body changes, helping the Reco Bra® accommodate fluctuations in size and shape throughout recovery. With six sizes from S to 3XL, the Reco Bra® provides a broad sizing range designed to accommodate women from petite through to fuller figures, with the stretch of the fabric allowing each size to adapt as your body changes during recovery.

Tested with the skin in mind
Reco Bra® has passed micro-climate testing performed in Germany, supporting the fabric's ability to manage temperature and moisture in contact with the skin.
Reco Bra® has also passed cytotoxicity testing, providing additional evidence of the biocompatibility of the garment materials under the conditions of the test.
For a garment designed to be worn close to the body during recovery, these tests provide reassurance that Reco Bra® has been evaluated not only for how it supports the body, but also for the environment it creates next to healing skin.
