Who we are
This website is run by Reco Heart Ltd, registered in England, company number 09781256, VAT number 238 0909 00. We sell the Reco Bra® and related recovery products. If anything in this policy is unclear, email info@recoheart.com and a real person will reply.
What we collect when you order
To fulfil an order we collect your name, delivery and billing addresses, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of what you bought. We use these to process the order, deliver it, send you the order emails and deal with any return or query. This is the information the contract with you needs, and nothing more.
Payments
Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never seen or stored by this website. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
VAT relief declarations
If you claim VAT relief on an eligible purchase, HMRC requires a short declaration, which can include the reason for your eligibility. We store that declaration only as part of the order record HMRC requires us to keep, and we do not use it for anything else.
Cookies and measurement
The site asks before setting any measurement cookies, and works fully if you say no. If you say yes, we use Google Analytics to see how people find and use the site, and a Meta pixel that supports our advertising. Essential cookies that make the basket and checkout work do not need consent and are always on. You can change your answer at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer.
Who we share information with
Order details are shared only with the people who need them to get your order to you: our payment processor (Stripe), our delivery carriers, and our email provider (Microsoft). If you consent to measurement cookies, usage data is shared with Google and Meta as described above. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
What we do not ask for
We do not ask for medical information to sell you a bra. Anything you choose to tell us in an email or a declaration is read only by the small team who reply, and treated in confidence.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept for six years, because HMRC requires it. Emails are kept for as long as they are useful for helping you. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard settings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep. Email info@recoheart.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
