The Reco Bra® design is now patented in the United States
The USA Patent and Trademark Office has granted design patent D1131981 for the Reco Bra.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted Reco Heart a design patent for the Reco Bra®: USA design patent D1131981.
A design patent protects the shape of the garment itself, which is where the Reco Bra® does its work. The three-dimensional seamless knit, the double front fastening and the anatomically placed support zones now hold registered protection in the United States, alongside the existing UK and EU registered designs.
What it means if you are buying from the US
Nothing changes about the bra, and that is the point. The design American surgeons and patients have been ordering from us is now formally recognised and protected in the United States, and the garment you receive is the same one worn in UK breast units.
